‘Gandhi in his golden age’ – ‘Gundhian is my idol’ – in his own words

In his autobiography, Mahatma Gandhi said: “It is my aspiration to be a Gandhian in my golden age.”

In his autobiography “My Story,” Gandhi wrote that “I have no love for India” and that he “could not see India any other way.”

He was a staunch defender of India, but he also criticised the country for “killing” innocent people and said the “whole country was in a state of chaos”.
